Our team is composed of young, creative and dynamic individuals. We work together to great lengths to introduce and institutionalize the concepts of youth engagement in the public and private institutions of the country.

Mr. Ali Raza Khan

Ali is a social entrepreneur, speaker, activist and author. He is responsible for the rise of the phrase “Youth as a Solution” a concept that has initiated a change in the role of young people in society. He has also coined the term “Changemaking Intelligence” to introduce a new kind of intelligence in society. He has invented the most effective, efficient and sustainable method to turn young people into changemakers after testing it with several thousand young people. He has *busted this myth that changemaking is possible only by a few. *Ali is the harbinger of the youth-led changemaking movement in the world. Ali is the founder and CEO of Youth Engagement Services (YES) Network Pakistan.  Ali has planted the seeds of youth-led changemaking and social entrepreneurship in over 1200 educational and vocational institutions. Ali has served as a consultant, board member, advisor, trainer and partner for many local and international organizations. Ali has been invited to speak in more than 30 countries of the world. Ali has received many local and international awards and acknowledgements for his achievements. He is given the title of ‘Sauvé Scholar’ by the Jeanne Sauvé Foundation in Canada. Ali is also given the title of ‘Architect of the Future’ by Waldzell Institute of Austria. He is a fellow of International Ashoka Network. Ali holds a MSC Degree in Human Resource Management and Development and a Master’s Degree in Political Science.


Mr. Hafiz Javaid Iqbal

He is serving as a Manager Operations in YES Network Pakistan. He did his Masters in Social Work from Punjab University Lahore. He has over 15 years of experience working in the field of social development. Before joining YES Network Pakistan, he served as a District Officer in Human Development Commission of Pakistan. He has carried out multidimensional human development projects successfully. He has implemented a wide range of programs in partnership with several local and international organizations. He is currently involved in the internal management of YES Network Pakistan.


Dr. Zahid Shahab Ahmed

Dr Zahid Shahab Ahmed is working as a Research Advisor in YES Network Pakistan. He is a Research Fellow at Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalization, Deakin University, Australia. Prior to joining Deakin University, Dr Ahmed was an Assistant Professor from 2013 to 2016 at the Centre for International Peace and Stability (CIPS), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan. He has nearly 15 years’ experience in designing, implementing and M&E of peacebuilding/PVE-E projects in South Asia.He holds an MA in Sociology from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (Pakistan), and an MA in Peace Education from the University for Peace, Costa Rica. In 2013, he completed a PhD in politics and international relations from the University of New England, Australia. He is fluent in English, Urdu and Punjabi.


Mrs. Rukhsana Ali Khan

She is currently working as a *Documentalist* in Youth Engagement Services (YES) Network Pakistan. She has done Masters in English Literature, Masters in Business Administration (Finance) and Masters in Computer Science. She has also done Diploma in Information Technology. She has worked with prestigious national and international organizations. She has a teaching experience of two years. She taught English Language, English Literature and Computer Science in Gandhara College for Girls, Wah Cantt. She served as External Liaison Officer in University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila. She also served as Lecture in the University and taught Technical Report Writing to the students. She has conducted more than 60 researches for international organizations on a wide range of topics such as Youth Service, Youth Social Entrepreneurship, Serving Learning, Business Administration, Information Technology, etc. She has conducted several trainings and workshops on Youth Development. She also served as a moderator for National and International Seminars and Conferences.


Mr. Kazam Raza

He is working as a Finance Manager in YES Network Pakistan. He is ACCA finalist and also holding a professional degree from Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. He has 9 years of diversified working experience in the field of financial management in public and private sector organizations. He is involved in financial management of YES Network Pakistan.


Mr. Jamil Hyder

He is working as a Coordinator Logistics in YES Network Pakistan since 2006. He is involved in organizing, coordinating and arranging local and national level sessions, meetings, seminars and conferences. He has over 18 years experience in the field of social development. He worked with several community based and national level organizations. He has sound knowledge of working in underprivileged areas. He has done professional courses in the field of IT.


Ms. Komal Abid

She is working as a Program Coordinator in YES Network Pakistan. She holds a master degree in Social Work from the University of the Punjab, Lahore.She has two years field experience of working with disadvantaged populations. She also possessed one year teaching experience. In YES, she is responsible for developing and executing youth-led changemaking projects in vocational and educational institutions of Pakistan. She is involved in developing sound human development strategies for maximizing the growth and productivity of the staff.


Ms. Huma Zia Faran

She is working as the Deputy Head of the Annual Status of Education Report Pakistan. She has been engaged with large-scale household based assessment since 2011. She graduated from Lahore School of Economics in 2010 and has been working in the development sector ever since. She has presented papers in various international conferences including Comparative and International Education Society (CIES, 2014/2015) and UKFIET (2012). Her major areas of interest include Girls Education, Quality of Learning, Rural-Urban Education Disparities and Education along Socio-economic lines. She is associated with YES Network Pakistan as a Research Scholar since January 2015.


Ms. Maria Riaz

She is serving as an illustration artist in YES Network Pakistan She is an author and a budding Publisher under the name of WHY Books. She is Multimedia Artist and a Textile Designer by qualification. A USAID alumni who has been working in Design Studios, CG industry and as an educator but her immense passion for storytelling lead her to practice her art as an illustration artist. One of her children’s book Our “Superhero Edhi Baba” gained international recognition and is a part of many local and international libraries including Read Asia’s digital Library.


Ms. Anum Nawaz

Anum is serving as a Moderator for YES Network Pakistan. She is currently a lecturer The Institute for Art and Culture. She is a Fulbrighter and has completed her Masters from The New School , New York in Social, Cultural, Cognitive and Developmental Psychology. She has previously taught at Forman Christian College as a visiting faculty in the Philosophy Department. Her prime research interest is in Cultural studies and Behavioural Interventions for holistic personality development.

In the past, she has worked as facilitator and coach and worked with as Manager Curriculum and product development at Rabtt , where she played an impeccable role in re-defining the educational standards by developing Academic programs for young scholars focused on instilling Empathy, Creativity, Critical thinking and Self-confidence.

She has also developed Fellowship programs and provided trainings to Undergrads so that they can work closely with the local communities and develop hard and soft skills together through fine theoretical knowledge in order to pursue their interests.

She has also worked extensively in the developmental sector with organizations such as British Council, Catholic Board of Education, The History Project, Akhuwat as a trainer and a researcher and volunteered as an activist at organisations such as A World at School , One to World , YMCA and United Ways , USA.


Ms. Taneer Zafar

She has recently joined YES Network Pakistan as a Story Writer. She is involved in documenting case studies from the field. She has a great passion for writing and reading and hope to become a journalist in future. She has served as a volunteer for many noble causes.


Mr. Waseem Akram

He is serving as a Service Scholar for YES Network Pakistan. He is involved in organizing sessions in public and private institutions of Pakistan. He has an impressive track record of starting and implementing community-based development projects in KP province of Pakistan. He served as a volunteer for many social campaigns. He is very passionate to bring change in his community.


Ms. Eshaal

I have recently joined YES Network Pakistan, passionate to make a change. I have been involved in transcriptions and marketing with YES Network Pakistan. It has been a pleasant and comfortable journey which keeps urging me to achieve more and push my limits further.
