Youth as a Solution, Not as a Problem

Established in 2002 by visionary founder Ali Raza Khan, YES Network Pakistan is at the forefront of spearheading a changemaking movement in the country. Our mission is to break down institutional barriers that prevent young people from realizing their full potential as changemakers. We envision a society where the changemaking power of young people is not only recognized but also embraced for their personal and societal development.

YES Network Pakistan is dedicated to creating, activating, and amplifying spaces for young people to experience the thrill of being changemakers. We offer a comprehensive package that encompasses creating a trust-based environment, providing trust-based investment, offering changemaking practice opportunities, and showcasing the achievements of young people.

Mr. Ali, Founder & CEO of YES Network Pakistan, has invented a very simple, practical, and scalable method to turn young people into changemakers. This method has undergone rigorous testing with several thousand young people from diverse backgrounds across the country, yielding astounding results. An impressive 92 percent of young people were able to create social and economic impact.

In 2008, YES Network Pakistan took a transformative step by adopting an institutional change approach. This strategic shift aimed to dismantle traditional, attitudinal, social, structural, legal, and financial barriers obstructing youth-led changemaking. To date, YES has sowed the seeds of youth-led changemaking in over 1200 educational and vocational institutions, seamlessly integrating this paradigm into the curricula of more than 225 leading educational and vocational institutions in Pakistan. Additionally, we collaborate with over 80 prestigious universities in the country, aligning their structures for youth-led changemaking through innovative projects.

Beyond our grassroots work, Mr. Ali Raza Khan, the founder and CEO of YES Network Pakistan, has had the honor of meeting renowned leaders such as former US President Bill Clinton, former Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohamad, and acclaimed author Paulo Coelho, among others. His expertise and changemaking model have been showcased on prestigious international platforms, solidifying his status as a thought leader and influencer in the field.

YES Network Pakistan has positioned the youth-led changemaking movement as a brand, spearheading a portfolio of initiatives aimed at cultivating, aligning, and sustaining supportive structures. Our overarching goal is to shatter traditional and institutional barriers that hinder youth-led changemaking. In pursuit of this mission, over the past twenty-one years, we have launched several exciting and award-winning youth engagement projects, each contributing to our broader vision of constructing an effective ecosystem for the support of youth-led changemaking.

We prioritize long-term impact over short-term gains and operate with a sense of urgency and impatience when it comes to opening doors for youth-led changemaking. Recognizing a gap in providing opportunities for every young person to engage in changemaking practices, we are dedicated to reshaping paradigms and systems. YES Network Pakistan’s unmatched network and extensive knowledge of youth-led changemaking provide an ideal platform for every educational and vocational institution to enhance its capacity for designing and delivering cross-campus changemaking programs. With a simple and scalable method, YES Network Pakistan has achieved unparalleled success in transforming young people into changemakers. Our work has garnered recognition in more than 30 countries worldwide, and we have collaborated with leading international organizations, private companies, and alliances. YES Network Pakistan has earned numerous international awards for its significant contributions to the field of youth-led changemaking.

As a legally registered non-profit organization, YES Network Pakistan operates under the guidance of a dedicated board of directors responsible for overseeing the organization’s performance. We are proudly certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) as a ‘Best Practice Institution.’
